15 Green Things Project

15 Green things Project: For this project we were given 15 green images and asked to combine them in any creative fashion using only a limited amount of Photoshop tools. I didn’t want my image to remain totally green, so my first goal was to play with some of the colors to liven it up. After this, I played with some of the pictures and combined them to create a new idea; I put the cat’s face over the woman’s face, the handicap symbol on the side of the car and a new bumper on its front, and I created (out of the meter and picture of the boy’s face) a new face altogether. Having limited space and 15 pictures to incorporate, I was inspired by the challenge of combining the images in a creative fashion, opposed to simply shrinking them all and laying them out on the canvas. I used organization to space out the figures, color to create contrast between pink and green and to enhance the excitement of the image, and space to determine which elements naturally draw the viewer’s attention while others are less noticeable. This was my favorite project, and I’m very satisfied with the results. I feel like I incorporated as many Photoshop tools as possible into the image, and I wouldn’t do anything differently.
